Ngurah Rai International Airport

Bali was visited by many tourist each year, either foreign nor domestic tourist.

But, look at the airport they have...

Compare to Changi Airport or Kuala Lumpur Airport, Ngurah Rai Airport is not as comfortable as theirs. Hopefully, the airport will be re-design one day, in order to meet all passenger's comfortability, particularly those experiencing delays.

Strange Fruit

Does anybody know what fruit is it?

Found at strawberry field at Cimahi, Bandung

Giant Koi Fish

How can a small Koi fish turn into this giant fish?

These fishes are found in one of factory outlet near Dago, Bandung. They are as big as your thigh. Can you believe it?

Great Idea for a pedestrian path

I visited a strawberry garden own by someone at Cimahi Bandung and find this pedestrian path, which I think the idea can be applied at your own garden.

Isn't it lovely?

Church in Bali

I was surprised to find that there is one village in Bali where all the people who live there are Christian. I was attended a church service one morning. The service was a combination between a worship service of GPIB and Bethel Church. It's really amazing...

Everybody knows everybody, even the priest knows well his congregation...

What an amazing life!!

Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta Internasional Airport

I was travelling to Bali with Air Asia at the end of May 2010 (during long weekend). Actually it wasn't a holiday for me, I was there to accompanied my mom visiting my sister. Since we were using Air Asia, we checked-in at Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta Internasional Airport. I was amazed with this new terminal!

This terminal was opened on April 15, 2009 and currently houses for 2 low cost carriers, Mandala Airlines and Air Asia for domestic flights. This terminal was designed with eco-friendly and modern style, with transparant look surrounded by glass wall, therefore the ray of the sun can easily irradiates inside the building and the passenger can enjoy the view of outside terminal.

Despite having to wait for a delayed flight, I am sure all the passengers will not be annoyed, because this terminal is a very comfortable place. Hopefully, all terminals at Soekarno-Hatta Internasional Airport will be upgraded their 'appearance' like terminal 3.

Bali, Island of God

I was travelling to Bali with my daughter by the end of December 2007. We travelled with Airasia. At the airport, waiting for boarding, all parents who brought their younger kids were welcome to come on board first, we were one of them.

Arriving in Bali, we were greeted by my sister, since we were going to stay at her house. Luckily, the weather was fine, no rains.

(this was us in front of my sister's house)

On the way home, we stopped at the submarine representative office, the Oddysey, since we planned to join the trip the next day. The submarine in Bali was one of the two Oddysey submarines in the world.

We were picked up from Circle-K near Kerobokan area, just me and my daughter. We were brought to Amuk Bay, in Padang Bay, where the submarines is waiting.

(this was us having breakfast on Circle-K, waiting to be picked up)

No wonder entering the submarines cost me a lot (around Rp700,000 at that time), but their services was excellent. Their services included: picked-up the guest, welcome drink, boat to the submarine, 45 minutes drive on the submarine, buffet lunch with excellent seafood plus receiving certificate with our picture on submarine.

Below are our pictures inside the submarine:

Besides taking part in a submarine cruise, we were travelling also to Bedugul, Tanah Lot, Pura Taman Ayun, Sanur Beach, Ubud and Jimbaran Beach.

Bali, wherever you go, you will find beauty. We will come back someday, travelling to the other part of Bali.

That was such a lovely days for us to remember...
